Alpine Escapes was founded in 2010 by Evelyn Sterling, a passionate mountaineer and avid traveler with a lifelong love for the Alps and other mountain regions worldwide. Evelyn's dream was simple: to share the breathtaking beauty and exhilarating experiences of the mountains with others. Frustrated by the lack of curated, high-quality mountain travel options, she set out to create a company that would connect travelers with exceptional destinations, offering personalized service and unforgettable adventures.
Starting as a small, locally-focused agency in Aspen, Colorado, Alpine Escapes quickly gained a reputation for its expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Evelyn personally scouted each location, forging partnerships with local businesses and guides to ensure that every experience was authentic, sustainable, and of the highest quality.
